What started as a simple hobby back in 2017 has now grown into a much larger operation. Built by ELM, LLC (formerly EB Creative Woodcraft) began with a modest idea — creating and selling small craft items to help fund the purchase of new tools. Over time, it became clear that I wanted to do more: something bigger and more challenging. The repetitive nature of small crafts began to wear on my motivation, and I found myself craving projects with greater variety and purpose.

I’ve since shifted my focus to carpentry and construction work. Some projects are large, some are small, but each one brings something fresh and different. That renewed focus led to a company rebrand, reflecting the broader scope of the work I now take on. After many years of learning and refining my skills, I took the next step and became a licensed general contractor. My goal is to serve the local community by delivering honest, dependable craftsmanship and quality work built to last.

We’ve also expanded our services to include professional Christmas light installation. Whether you want classic roofline lights, custom landscape lighting, or a full holiday display designed and installed for you, Built by ELM brings the same attention to detail and commitment to safety that we apply to every construction project. We handle everything from design and installation to takedown and storage, so you can enjoy a beautiful, stress-free holiday season.
